Lessons Offer:Beginners 1. Students learn to read music, play simple rhythms and the fundamentals of music. 2. Harp technique and selected repertoire is introduced. 3. Students learn to sight-read.
Intermediate Level 1. Students continue the study of harp technique. 2. Students continue to read music and play pieces with more complex rhythms with new technical skills. 3. Students continue sight-reading. 4. Students are introduced into orchestra/ensemble playing. 5. Students are encouraged to attend summer music camps. Advanced Level 1. Students continue to study harp technique and repertoire. 2. Students continue to read and play more complex pieces/rhythms and sight-reading. 3. Students work to perform auditions for colleges/universities/ music schools/and competitions. 4. Students perform with their local/area orchestras. 5. Students are encouraged to attend summer music camps. · All students are encouraged to perform for student recitals, private/social and community events. · Students take a class “harp outing” yearly.
RATES
1. Classes are $65.00 an hour. and $35.00 per half hour. a. Private classes are custom designed to get the most from the Student.
2. Family rates (2 harpists or more from one family) $55.00 per hour. *Payments for each month are due at the beginning of that month.
